About this tool
A PDF is great for sharing but hard to edit. This tool turns a PDF into a Word document so you can change text, fix typos, update tables and reuse the content in your own files. It works best with PDFs that contain real, selectable text, such as reports, contracts, resumes and exported web pages.
How to use this tool
- Choose the PDF file from your device, or drag and drop it onto the upload area.
- Wait a few seconds while the document is converted.
- Click Download to save the .docx file.
- Open it in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and review the layout.
Tips for best results
- Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages, not real text. They cannot be edited as text after conversion unless OCR is used.
- Complex layouts with many columns, floating images or unusual fonts can shift slightly. Always compare the result with the original.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before conversion.
- Files up to 20 MB are supported.
